Noyaa
Asian - Mediterranean Culinary Bar
Where the Silk Road meets the Spice Route, a culinary journey through time, culture and connection.
About the Brand
In the heart of downtown Toronto lies Noyaa, a culinary sanctuary where ancient trade routes converge and cultures intertwine through food, vibes and architecture. Drawing inspiration from the historic Silk Road and Spice Route that connected Asia and the Mediterranean, Noyaa blends fragrant tagines, aromatic curries and warm oakwood interiors to transport you to a bygone era of bustling bazaars and timeless exchange. Every bite tells a story , a journey through time, connection and the universal language of food.

Inspiration
Noyaa’s visual identity draws from the flowing paths of the Silk Route and the ancient Amber Road, where merchants once carried spices, stories and stones across continents. Inspired by the rippling desert sands that marked these journeys and the raw, organic forms of amber and trade worn stones, the design captures a sense of movement, texture and timeless exchange. It’s a visual language shaped by nature and history, grounding Noyaa in a story of cultural connection and earthy elegance.

Logo Design

The Noyaa logo is rooted in the spirit of ancient trade routes, where stories, spices and stones flowed across continents. The brand mark draws from the sand ripples of the Silk Route, capturing the movement and texture of desert journeys. In the wordmark, the letter ‘O’ is shaped like a raw, organic stone, inspired by the Amber Road and its legacy of glimmering amber and cultural exchange. The result is a logo that feels earthy yet refined, echoing nature, history, and timeless connection.

Iconography
The brand icons are inspired by the raw, irregular forms of amber stones, crafted with a rugged, edgy finish that mirrors their natural texture. Each icon extends the visual language of the identity, turning the Amber Road’s essence into a distinct, tactile system.

Menu Design
The menu design reflects Noyaa’s earthy elegance and rich inspiration. The linen-coated cover features embossed ‘N’ stripes drawn from sand ripples, paired with gold-foiled food icons and the title “Food Menu.” Inside, rough-cut page edges echo the raw beauty of amber stones, while break pages showcase stone-inspired textures. Gold-foiled icons throughout add a touch of refined detail, tying the visual story together.
